Cookie Policy

StatusMirror keeps storage to a minimum. Here is exactly what we set and why.

Cookies we set

We set one preference cookie: sm_keep_signed_in (stores whether you opted in to “Keep me signed in on this device”, valid for one year).

Session tokens are not stored in cookies. They are kept in your browser's local storage only when you choose “Keep me signed in”, and otherwise only in memory for the current session.

Browser local storage we use

Our app stores the following values in your browser's local storage (never visible to other websites):

  • __convexAuthJWT_… and __convexAuthRefreshToken_… — signed session tokens (only when “Keep me signed in” is on)
  • statusmirror-appearance — your light/dark theme preference
  • statusmirror.privacy-mode — whether Privacy Mode (on-screen masking) is enabled
  • statusmirror.recent-providers — your recently used providers for convenience

Third-party storage

Razorpay may set its own cookies when you are on our payment pages or its hosted checkout. Their use is governed by Razorpay's privacy policy, not ours.

How to clear this data

Clearing your browser's cookies and site data for statusmirror.me will remove the preference cookie and local storage values above. Signing out of StatusMirror also clears your session tokens.
